The last time I counted, it was around the 80 mark. However, some have been replaced, and some no longer play league football. I don't think I'll list them all.

From your list, I haven't been to Tottenham, West Ham, (either) Wimbledon, Ipswich, Norwich or Coventry - quite a few when you consider I've been to so many.

Of course, when I used to travel to watch football, they were all in the Premier League (or 1st division back then), and Plymouth never played there.

Another I've never been to to watch football is Anfield, although I have been inside the ground.

Does Candlestick Park count? :D
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

I've been to 18 grounds of the current teams in the English leagues but also watched games in the Maracana Stadium (Fluminense,Rio,Brazil) Easter Road (Hibs,Scotland) and FC Zurich in Switzerland.
Do I get bonus points for any of those three ? 8)

You all forgot Wembley, and surely I am not the only one to have been to the Mecca of football, Plainmoor.

Wembley was on SJ's OP. Been there dozens of times.

Yes, I've been to Plainmoor, but don't usually boast about it. Is it still standing?

Lots, but interestingly of the London clubs, I have never been to Millwall.

The old Wolves ground brings back great memories, Ayresome Park the worst - New years day with a hangover in the freezing cold, not sure how I even made it and we lost to a last minute goal!

Furthest north was Newcastle (urghh), west was Cardiff, south was the Dell and East was Norwich. Other ground I've been to most other than the Bridge is.......Craven Cottage!

Only ever seen Chelsea lose in cup finals (apart from something called the Full Members)!

And the worst away journey was on my own, straight from school, still in uniform, on the tube to the Arse for a midweek FA cup replay, I was so close to the gates when the Police announced the ground was full. Had to trudge home to SW London, then popped into the local pub offie for a dog biscuit as I was starving and heard on the radio we'd got beat 2-1.

West Ham, Arsenal (Highbury), Charlton (old Valley), Crystal Palace, Colchester, Coventry (Highfield Road), Old Wembley, Man City (Maine Road), Fulham, Brighton (Goldstone Ground), Leicester, Luton, Ipswich, Notts County, Stanford Stadium (San Francisco, World Cup 1994), Cray Wanderers (Grassmeade and Oxford Road), Bromley (Hayes Lane). Never had that many chances to go either as a teenager because of parents worried about trouble (teenage years 1973 - 79) and also the journey to West Ham from Orpington by train/tube took over 2 hours in each direction back then, and then after 1982 I was always working on Saturdays. Most of the grounds were visited when I was a student between 1979 and 1982. I haven't been to a UK ground for over 20 years now so maybe I will try to rectify that on my next trip home.

I am sure there have been more but these are all I can dredge up from my memory! The last two were my local clubs, with Cray my very first team (and ground visited) being one of the oldest football clubs in the world (formed in 1860 and is the oldest existing club in Greater London). Maybe I will go and see them when I go back - real football and a lot cheaper too! I saw three games in San Francisco featuring Brazil, Russia, Sweden and Cameroon at the only World Cup I have ever been to, and England didn't qualify!!! I sat in the stands with some other English guys and we sang 'Wemberley, Wemberley, we're the famous Engerland and we stayed at Wemberley' as well as 'Graham Taylor's Invisible Army' and other similar ditties after the Turnip failed to get the team there...
