With me being a pessimist combined Chelsea currently underachieving (Spurs are doing better in all competitions) and my loss of prediction skills, I am now betting on Chelsea to fail again today.

Just one match in the first half of the season maybe, BUT,

it is a crucial one. I believe the performance of the top four against each other will determine the outcome of the league this year. Chelsea have already screwed one home match up against Liverpool.

The problem Chelsea have is that all their matches in the second half of the season against the other three are away. A 10 point advantage over Manure and the Arses is needed by next year to give them a chance of the title. Even then it will be a close contested fight with Liverpool.

Chelsea have 100% away record so far but how long will that last?

The optimist in me says four home wins today which would give the Arses and Manure a serious uphill task.

D
That's a relief. That match is scheduled for March 21st 2009.

How was the Spurs match yesterday. Chelsea woz robbed by the ref. Probably a closet gay Arse supporter.

So Chelsea's appalling run of form continues and Spurs good takes a knock.

November must have been the worst month for Chelsea since Abramovitch took over. 8 games, 3 wins against premiership strugglers, 3 losses and 2 draws. Spurs on the other hand have had 6 wins and 2 losses.

With a home against Manure coming up in 2 weeks I hope Spurs can carry on winning.

think you should be pointing the finger at the linesman, maybe in the direction of specsavers too :D
just makes up for the legal goal v persie had chalked off at the bridge a couple of years back, oh & last season when 3 chelski'ites were offside in the build up to your equaliser :D :D

i'm sure you will agree, swings & roundabouts with ref/lino mistakes.
they usually even up over time

Liverpool draw and go top of the league, then booed off the field by some of the fans. Likewise some so~called Arsenal fans call for Wenger to go, get a life will you all, he is the most successful manager they have had. How long before the`bring back Jose` faction at Chelsea start their chanting? All these clubs have had success but cannot win everything. Real fans support their team whatever happens, take lessons from fans of teams who have little hope of winning anything but turn up week after week and still following the dream.

None of the top 4 won at the weekend. Its like none of them want the title.
Arsenal.....not enough strength in depth to win the Premiership.
Liverpool....4 home draws now against smaller clubs.
Chelsea....amazingly,they are poor at home this season.
United.....still far from convincing, missing the influence of Carlos Queiroz ?

Villa are up to 4th now but I dont think they have what it takes to win the title.
Breath of fresh air this season have been Hull City. Some great results, particularily away from home.Lets hope they dont suffer second season syndrome next year.

Man-U is now two matches behind everyone else except Wigan at 17. Does anyone know when these matches will be made up? Pete

The news is not giving much concerning the Gerrard incident.

What's being said on the UK side? I assume it was a case of someone lipping off about his or Liverpool's performance and the guy got a well deserved fat lip. Pete
