I just read on the BBC website that Tony & Joe Jordan are looking after the Pompey team this w/e. So i guess that may suggest they're staying put. Adams may even be offered the managers job. I think he wanted another crack at management & I don't think Pompey have truckloads of cash, so maybe....Arcadian wrote:Will Harry take his assistant, Tony Adams? I can`t see Spurs fans accepting that, or Tony for that matter.

Yup, good one for the reds. They got the early break (deflected goal) and then played with a lot of confidence. Chelsea didn't have the guile to break the reds down, who were always going to be a threat on the counter-attack.
Just goes to show to beat the best - and Liverpool are getting there - you have to be on top form and have your best talents available. We were lacking in one or two areas and it just demonstrates how strong the top 4 are compared to just about anyone.
Roll on the game up at Anfield. I still think it will be Cheleas season!

Yeah great, but the Arse! Cruise control throughout, but stoopid mistakes and whatever cost them. They should have closed the game down at 4-2, but brains they lack, and they suffered for it and so does my IKTS result again.
I love watching Arsenal play more than any other team, but I'd hate to support them. Maybe Ramos has it right when he talks of a balance of maturity and despite his sins of last year, having seen him walk off the pitch, I think Gallas is in the mood to do some serious damage to his team mates tonight? They were celebrating their win before the final whistle had gone.
Class teams do not give away such games - despite the great game it was.
So what about Spurs? Great goal by Jenas, but I'd shoot your keeper, who is clearly not good enough and make Woodgate captain.

Remember, no one can make you feel inferior without your consent.

You play some great Football but must be frustrating as hell.

I am an Arsenal supporter and clearly disappointed, but fair play to Spurs they did not come to defend or pack their defence. I cannot agree with another poster re Gallas, he lacks a lot of capaincy skills, can you imagine Tony Adams of Frank McClintock allowing his players to lose a 2 goal lead with minutes to go? Great goal by Bentley, but goalkeeping mistakes on both sides made for an exciting game for neutrals. Liverpool seem to be an enigma, beating Chelsea and Man U but scraping wins against less fancied teams.
