Hua Hin nightlife crackdown
Re: Hua Hin nightlife crackdown
The Thai stepson of a bar/restaurant owner off Soi 94 told me yesterday the nightclub will reopen next month.......

1. To the best of my knowledge it hasn't reopened...... yet!Pagey wrote:The Thai stepson of a bar/restaurant owner off Soi 94 told me yesterday the nightclub will reopen next month.......
2. The rumour today is that all bars must close at midnight tonight and for the foreseeable future. No reason given. This would delay Chomjan even further.

An update on my post above...
The midnight closure rumour has been denied by one of the most popular bars in Bintabaht....
So, who to believe??

Nope...
01.00 is standard for Binta bars(occasionally cut back to 00.00)
Bar Bon(Cat 1) in the old complex next to Hilton, and some surrounding bars, are 3am in 'standard' conditions.
Whenever it's midnight closing restrictions they(old complex) often don't bother opening at all
I can't speak for NW Cha Am when they probably close at 20.00 as everyone is in bed!

Last time I was out, bars in the 94 area were closing at 1am, though there are a couple of sneaky late nighters that must get through a lot of stationary every month.
