Re: Thai girls away from home still keep the village customs

There is a surprisingly large Thai community in Ayrshire, Scotland. I had no idea how many until my wife by chance met another Thai girl in Tescos. She invited us to a party where there were loads of other Thai women (and a few guys). Groups of them often get together in eachothers houses or in a co...

Re: Passenger van crashes, 5 dead, 8 hurt

Dont worry I wouldnt book my ride on your advice solely. Ive previously travelled to Koh Chang (twice) and Pattaya by taxi so I am aware of the increased risk. The only difference being this time we are bringing my 1 year old and my parents along, otherwise I would have no hesitation in jumping in a...

Re: Passenger van crashes, 5 dead, 8 hurt

Shocking...I think i might re-evaluate the mini-van idea and get the train from BKK to Hua Hin when we visit. I can't believe you even use the minivans - I'd feel safer being driven to Bangkok by a blind person. While not all the minivan drivers are crazy, most are complete and utter twats who have...

Re: Driving around Hua Hin area

Re-read the AA website...my mistake (i was on my 1st nightshift).

Will pop in to the post office when im home and get it sorted and will be sure to hire a car from a proper hire company rather than a street side vendor.

Cheers
