Diabetes

How common is Diabetes among the locals in Hua Hin or say in Thailand overall? I just visited the Bangkok hospital website and couldn't see any department dedicated to diabetes when all the corporate hospitals in the world are getting conscious about this epidemic. Re: Diabetics using NovoMix 30 Penfill 3mL

Avandia (Rosiglitazone) is/was a good medicine. Its a pharmaceutical gimmick which led to its burial. Every pill has a side effect. Its how safely you use it what matters. Thankfully, Rosiglitazone's sibling Pioglitazone is still around.

2 days in Hua Hin - General queries - Please recommend

I'll be in Hua Hin for couple of days(not weekends) in May. I'll be staying at Hilton with a group. Not aware of our itinerary yet. Just had some basic queries so thought of posting here. 1) Can I get a CDMA connection which I can use in Hua Hin(2 days) and Bangkok(2 days)? I have a CDMA phone which...

Some countries want tourists to carry their passports all along with them wherever they go and produce every time any govt authority (eg. police) demand. Do you need to carry your passport around Hua Hin or say Thailand? Is it risky to keep it in a safe in Hotel room? Is it risky to carry it to plac...

Many of the symptoms are viral in which antibiotics dont help. If prescribed, they add to the resistance.

Re: Looking for 1 month room rental.(cheap)

Not sure if this has been discussed before but I'd recommend an interesting documentary
The Great Global Warming Swindle, which is quite opposite to what is shown in An inconvenient Truth.

Re: Camera and photography thread

My second post and radioactivity seem to follow me everywhere! So, I am yet to get the details of my itinerary. All I know is I'll be staying for 3 days in Hua Hin in mid May. Will be with a group, with people I don't know yet. My new interest is photography. I own a Canon 500D and 18-55mm Kit IS le...

Risk of nuclear radiation in Thailand?

Hello,

I want to plan my visit to Thailand in May, but I am a bit apprehensive about the risk of nuclear radiation from Japan. Would like to know members, tourists, visitor's views on this.

Thank you.
