Re: Thailand plans to decriminalize/criminalize cannabis

Yes, wasn't it one of the things that tourists have been complaining about, the smell of cannabis everywhere? Particularly those with children. Re: The AI (artificial intelligence) thread

Technology doesn't scam people. People scam people.
Maybe the technology will learn how to do that from people.
What if you tasked AI to set up a profitable online business and it looks at what works and decides that scamming people is the way ahead.

Re: A Medical Emergency in Hua Hin

^ It would definitely be worth seeing if the service station has customer liability insurance that covers this situation.
If it happened in a local noodle shop, you'd have no chance but you would think a national fuel company would have a policy.

Re: The Bitcoin, Blockchain, and Cryptocurrency Thread

I've never tried crypto so I don't know how it would work but if transactions are secret and the sale of crypto in Thailand is going to be untaxed, is there scope for moving funds into the country that way?

Another coup on the cards……
Thailand has had 12 coups since 1932, which averages out to one about every 8 years!

Personally, I would bin UK Labour's idiotic "Zero" or "Green" bollocks and re-open the North Sea Gas and Oil Fields - masses of jobs, huge investment, LESS IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT!! and hell, less reliance on others during this period of Tariffs and Warfare. This is supposed t...

Re: Electric Vehicles (EV) Thread

^There’s bound to be a period of intense competition that many companies won't survive.
It was the same in the early days of petrol car production, in the start of the 1920s there were over 180 manufacturers in the UK alone and the vast majority of them fell by the wayside.
