Then you should know.
Whoever did the decision, I suppose it was't you at that time, made a good choice. 500 km west of Stockholm may be several good alternatives. But I'm agree, Stockholm is a nice city as well. "Det aarnaer sae ......"

Hi david83. I welcome you and scorpiolady to HH and a beer. Just remember I said I was born in Stockholm. Lived there only 4 years before moving westward. Stockholm is a beautiful city, maybe the most beautiful capital in Europe!! May I ask, how far westward did you move, Norseman ? Regards Monor

Thank you for your invitation.I'll give you a notice next time we go to Hua Hin and look forward to a beer or two.... or more, and changing opinions with you. One of my opinions is that the local beer, Singha, is very go...

Hello Norseman,
no, i'm not agree with you in that. We have had 30 inches of snow here in southern Norway this winther without too many problems. But I'm not fond of his type of winther and should like to be in Hua Hin for a longer time during the winther.

Bucknaked,
I visited Hua Hin for the first time in January and my experience is that you can buy the clothes you need in Hua Hin. I also bought a digital camera, but the price was similar to the price in Europe. Have a nice trip and pleasent stay. I was very satisfied.

Hello Rosso, Thank you for your answer. My remark/question was more or less ment as a joke. I'm sure you had a very pleasent boat-trip. I like it myself and have my own small boat here in Norway. But it's not the season now. It's very cold and a lot of snow. But my wife and I have very good and warm...

Thank you very much, Norseman. I understand where it is. Perhaps that sort of "modern" mall will suit the residents in Hua Hin. But as a tourist I did not miss any "western style" mall during our pleasant stay.

Entrance to Sofitel.

My wife and I spent 3 very nice week's in Hua Hin in January this year. We and two friends visited Sofitel at least 3 times without any questions from the guards. We met the best hospitality there as we did everywhere else in Hua Hin. That was our first visit and we look forward to the next time in ...

Re: Entrance to Sofitel?

I've been to Hua Hin many times in the past 10 years, and have always managed to avoid the lure of Sofitel and the Hilton. That was until my last visit. I was at an ATM, and picked up one of the freebie magazines which detailed a leisure route around Hua Hin. Most of the route was fairly standard -...
