HH is about 250 km from the airport and about 220 from downtown Bangkok. Taxis cost about 2,000 baht one way. Since you coming in here for the first time, take a taxi. Trains are slow and most of them will leave in the afternoon or early evening. Taxi is also a good option if you don't have a hotel...

Leaving Norway in january 2006, this time I'll try HH. How far is it from BK int airp. to the nearest railway station. Do I have to order place to stay before I leave NO, or can i wait until I arrive HH??
